Lexx was off the wall and great for it and I too would like to see the adventures of little Lexx but I guess to keep fresh the team thought it was time to move on. The underlying problem is the general lack of good si-fi at the moment, I mean what is out there really?
Ho hum rant over, back to the dark zone.....

I really got into both the tongue in cheek grade B scifi spoofiing and the mythology of Lexx. I can't recall any other scifi movie or series of this magnitude literally managing to pull off a completely non-earth based culture and frame of reference, and I was thrilled it wasn't s p o o n fed (geez, that's a naughty word on this board...) to the audience the way Star Trek shows do. You get Lexx on the run, and if you can't keep up with what happened and why, tough, because they sure aren't going to sit around in a meeting at a table discussing it. It's also brutally honest, more real life and less catering to canned programming. Everyone sits around talking about sex and never getting any, the food sux, everybody dies, and the ironic twists of fate are fabulous. And I seriously need a moth to fly around in.

You're wasting your energy attempting to force my cooperation. I have no sense of self preservation and can always be reassembled. --790
