Giggerota is by far, in my opinion, the greatest character in the Lexx series!!!!

They're all good, yeah, but I adored the cannibal. She had rock and roll hair and makeup and didn't flinch at anything, even death. She laughed in the face of bloody grossness. I really don't know why that's cool, it just is.

Also, she was crucial to the show carrying on in Super Nova. If she hadn't survived Kai flinging her off the command center, Poet Man would have killed Zev and defiled Stanley, and Kai would still be laying there cut in half. So Giggy's fate was just as tied to the prophecy coming true as any of the rest of them.

I also thought it was pertinent that Giggerota represented Stan's fear of death in the second season when she showed up in his dreams. Giggy IS death, she consumes people literally, so it made sense that she represented that guilty part of Stan's brain that was grappling with his self worth after all those people died because he was too much of a coward to die himself and stop the inevitable horrors of complete genocide.

Third season-- how cool was it that the cannibal showed up on Fire with no body??? That was perfect, the evil one who consumed so many bodies would be punished by not having a body of her own. She wanted to beat Prince...

...and became Pope. Wow. Did Prince arrange that? He seems to have arranged everything else, putting 'his' people in places where it would do him the most good. But going from Queen to Pope, that was good.

I was glad to see Giggerota make it into all four seasons.

You're wasting your energy attempting to force my cooperation. I have no sense of self preservation and can always be reassembled. --790
